I love cats. But I only love to cuddle and stroke them. Other than that say, when it comes to clean and feed them, I won't do it.
Ok, that's not about it. The thing is I have a stray mama cat in front of my house. Her name is Mak Wira. The reason being is because my mom adopted her son two years ago and named him Wira. Hence the name Mak Wira.
Mak Wira is a good cat. A very good stray cat where it don't enter the house and always wait quietly right in front of my house every day for food. See, Mak Wira gave birth to three kittens last month. But only left two now. They are nice kittens too name Mo and Nyet.
Here's the part that I really want to get it out. Recently there are many stray cats around the neighborhood. And I think one of the neighbours here complained to the authority. So three days ago, Mak Wira failed to show up right in front of my house. The kittens were so glum and sad that they just keep on waiting and refusing to eat.
Now, three days had passed and I'm pretty sure that Mak Wira had been captured by the authority to be shot down. I tried to look at the pound but it's weekend and public holiday so my effort was to avail. I'll be looking around one last time tomorrow.
The thing is, I do want to neuter Mak Wira as soon as she stop breast feed her kittens. Yes, she is breast feeding so it really break my heart to imagine how would she suffer in distress once she was captured. And it breaks my heart even more to look at those poor kittens who are so lost.
I applaud the authority's effort to help the community but I am slightly frustrated that they would shot down the animals directly. The least the could do is to put up notices to announce the community that there will be a 'hunting' session so those pet owners can keep their pets. But I am thankful that they did not take my cat Senja otherwise they really look for trouble.
So lesson learned. Should've wear them with some sort of pet collars or something. Haihsss....
